Warner Bros. Television Group has shared their plans with us for San Diego Comic Con 2019. With so many series coming to a variety of networks, there is a lot to talk about. This year marks the premiere of Batwoman as she joins the ranks of the Arrowverse after making her debut in the crossover last year. Also, the teams from Arrow and supernatural will appear for the last time. WBTVG at San Diego Comic Con has been a staple for the last several years and is a large part of why TV has taken over the con. The CW run of super shows, lead by EP Greg Berlanti, creates the largest TV multi-series universe on TV today. Ballroom 20 may just become the new Hall H and they may be the reason. Check below as we breakdown all we know about WBTVG at San Diego Comic Con 2019!

World Premieres

Wednesday night of Comic Con is Preview Night, so what’s better than previewing some new shows! On July 17th in Ballroom 20, Batwoman and Pennyworth will share pilot screenings with the audience ahead of their premieres this fall. Additionally, the Fox series Prodigal Son will be screening the pilot episode of the series with fans as well. The Pennyworth panel will be on Friday in the third largest con room, Room 6BCF. Batwoman opens Ballroom 20 on Saturday morning.

The audience at the Preview Night screening will also have a look at the Harley Quinn animated series. Teen Titans GO! will be sharing a never-before-seen episode, as well.

The other world premiere for WBTVG is Hulu’s Veronica Mars. Kristen Bell is returning to Neptune for another season following the story of the film, Veronica Mars, released in 2014. The original series has become a cult classic and is beloved by their fans, the Marshmallows. We don’t have all the details on who will be attending the July 19th panel from the series, but we do know attendees at the panel will be part of the world premiere screening of the series. Based on the 11:30-12:45 time slot, I’m assuming this will feature a 30 min Q&A with a screening of the first episode.

Returning Series

In a flash, The Flash, will be starting its sixth season! The cast and creative team for the series will be closing the longstanding Saturday afternoon panel block of Arrowverse shows. The block also includes returning series, Supergirl and Black Lightning. The crew will take over Ballroom 20 for this very popular panel. Additionally, DC Super Hero Girls, Legacies, and Riverdale will all have panels. The popularity of Riverdale has placed it in Hall H for the second year. These teams will, more than likely, also partake in signing events at the WB Booth. For more details on how to get in on the signings check out the Comic Con signings page for details.

Final Seasons

We are sad to see them go, so Comic Con will have to send off two shows in style. Supernatural will end its unprecedented fifteen season run next year. The fans of this series are amongst the most loyal. The cast and creative team return to their standard Sunday, Hall H spot for their last Con appearance. Arrow will also be leaving after the upcoming eighth season. Star Stephen Amell shared that it was his decision to leave to show, while fan-favorite, Emily Bett Rickards, bowed out at the end of season 7. This will mark the first series to leave the Arrowverse and being the show that started it all, it does seem to make sense. The Arrow will kick off the Saturday afternoon block in Ballroom 20.
