A Brand New Face
What the heck is going on?! Stephen Amell shared a face-swapping poster for “Elseworlds” via Instagram. Apparently, Barry and Oliver find themselves in each other’s lives. While on a Facebook live Q&A recently, Amell best described the crossovers as “bananas.” I now agree.
Batwoman
Ruby Rose has shared a photo via Instgram of her Batwoman costume. The iconic Bats of the DC Universe have been noticeably absent from the Arrowverse for the past few seasons, mostly due to licensing issues, but now Batwoman will be the first representative from Gotham!
Superman
Supergirl’s cousin, Superman, is returning for the crossover event. If Gotham’s Batwoman gets an invite, it would feel wrong not to include the hero of Metropolis! The Flash‘s Grant Gustin looks a little excited to see Tyler Hoechlin all dressed up in his new Superman suit. The all-black number is a stark change of pace from the traditional blue and red.

This is about as flustered as I’m gonna get on the set of one of these super hero shows.
Plot
The crossover, “Elseworlds,” is in-production now, so very little is known about the storyline. We know that it will encompass The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl, leaving out sibling DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. But, they are planning a special episode during crossover week. The episodes will air three nights in a row, as with previous years. The event has become one of the highest rated week’s for the CW and this year doesn’t look to change their big numbers. We’re not sure why Barry Allen and Oliver Queen are dressed in their best bandanna look, but this crossover will sure be memorable!
